Daniel's journey in the world of performing arts began in India, where he was born and spent his early years in an orphanage in Pune. At the age of four, he was adopted by a family in Sweden and grew up south of Stockholm. Despite the challenges of adjusting to a new culture and language, he found solace in music and performance. It became his escape and his passion.
Before Daniel started to sing he competed on the elite level in Ballroom and Latin American Dancers. In Latin American Dancers he was twice Swedish Champion and represented Sweden in different championships like European & World championships and other international competitions like London International, Hong Kong International, Blackpool Festival etc.
In 1990 Daniel watched the musical Phantom of the Opera in Stockholm and he was totally mesmerised of the show & the music, so he instantly decided to quit dance-competitions, to become singer & actor.
Later he studied a Bachelor’s degree at Ballet Academy in Gothenburg, Sweden, and many years later he went the prestigious postgraduate degree Musical Theatre Course Royal Academy of Music in London.
Throughout Daniel's career, he has honed his skills as a singer & actor, performing in various productions worldwide. One of the highlights of his career was being part of Andrew Lloyd Webber's West End musical Bombay Dreams at the Apollo Victoria Theatre in London. This experience not only allowed him to showcase his talents on a global stage but also sparked a curiosity in his Indian heritage.
As he delved deeper into his past, he realized the importance of embracing his roots and understanding his identity.
His journey in music has been a constant exploration of self-discovery, and he's eager to continue this exploration. He's determined to find out more about his biological parents and where his music genes will take him.
Daniel's long experience in the industry, together with his passion for storytelling through music, makes him a valuable asset for upcoming projects. He is very excited about the future what upcoming exciting projects onstage & Film/TV are lurking around the corner.
